Clarks work well for me and these are another example of it. They fit well and I can stand in them all day. I work on my feet so I need shoes that don\'t have wear points, these fit the bill.
Clarks sometimes fit me and sometimes not. These fit my normally 9W foot, but I had to order an 8W as the 9s were too long. The heavy stitching around the inner footbed can rub after wearing awhile. I hope this will wear down after further breaking in. The red color is perfect - has a little brown that tones down the red and makes the shoe neutral. These are my "go to" shoes for running to grocery store, etc.
Clarks Phyllis - Overall, an excellent shoe! I normally wear a 7.5W or an 8M. However, I ordered a 7.5WW to see if I could find a pair of shoes that were comfortable without me having to take off my toe rings. I have found that shoe with these! Enough room in the toebox to wiggle my toes and avoid the dreaded 'hotspots', enough cushion in the insole to be comfy, a nice little extra cushioning for the ball of my foot, a little bit of a heel to be stylish, and enough 'give' in the leather to not pinch or constrict. At first, I thought these were a little matronly, probably due to the rounded toe and low heel. But with all the 'baby dolls' and 'mary janes' making a come back, this shoe fits right in! And after all, I'm not twenty something anymore! I'm pushing 50 and I've learned that if your feet aren't happy in the right shoes, it can pretty much ruin your day and make one very crabby! Would I buy these again? ABSOLUTELY! Granted, I won't be wearing these with a cocktail dress, but they are perfect for everyday, casual dress for work. And they do look a lot better 'up close and personal', than in the pic. Logohoo is the BEST for shoe shopping!
Clarks Ice - Great shoes - the size is perfect. I walk a great deal at work from one building to another outside. For that purpose, they are very comfortable and when it is raining, they are perfectly waterproof.
Clarks desert trek - This is my favorite shoe there is. I'm on my third pair. However, I find that quality control is an issue for these shoes in spite of their high price. The pair I just recently got from Logohoo had a large wad of glue stuck inside the toe area. It made it very uncomfortable for my big toe. By the time I realized what the problem was, I had already worn the shoes too much to return. I was able to get pliers and pull out most of the glue. Also the leather in that front panel is not as high a quality as the rest of the shoe. I've had similar problems with my other pairs of Desert Treks. Also I have found that the sizing is not consistent (though my current pair feels true to size).
Clarks are ALWAYS 5 stars in my movie review - These shoes are for my daughter, who loves them for work. Comfort and style.
