A design that camouflages large feet well. I have these in size 10, black. The shoes by themselves appear dainty and also make my feet appear smaller. Size 10 Privo Battens in no way resemble small boats. I may add arch support later on, but this is not for fault of the shoe. Overall, a very sleek and nuetral shoe.

A great shoe for tender toes! I converted to clogs as my main shoe style almost three years ago. I love them, but often find that my foot tends to slide a bit in them bumping my toes into the front of the shoe. This has led to all sorts of problems. When I got these shoes I was so excited! Because of the adjustable strap I could make sure my foot did not slide all the way to the front of the shoe. I now have very happy toes!

A great loafer - I needed a basic black shoe to wear with pants, and tennis shoes were out. These seemed to fit the bill and reminded me of other boat shoes I had had before, but with some arch support. As other reviewers have mentioned, these shoes fit snugly, but not tightly. They are great to walk around in. But, although they are called "seaworthy" what they really are, are driving shoes! The sole curves up around the back of the heel making it easy to keep your foot in the proper position on the accelerator without getting tired. Even Rockport considers them driving shoes. If you need a comfortable, classy casual shoe that you can drive in for hours at a time, this is the shoe. Even if you don't need to drive for hours, it's a great little shoe.

A good looking walking shoe - I have prescription orthotics I need to be able to put into my shoes. That also means I am always looking for shoes that fit well, have good solid support, a toe box that isn't tight, and are well made. These shoes are perfect for me and I bought them in two colors. The strap looks nice and helps with the fit as I have a narrow heel. These shoes look better in person than they do in the pictures. I am very pleased with them.

A friend of mine had a pair of your Tambour shoes which I absolutely loved, so ordered a pair for myself in brown. I had never had Ariat shoes before, and found them to be wonderful...extremely comfortable, not to mention beautiful. In fact, I liked them so much I went back online and ordered the Westlake style in black. Delivery was, as before, very fast and I love the Westlakes as much as I do the Tambours. A beautiful boot, but it will not fit. I think the craftsmanship on the boot was great, but I ordered a size 7 and the foot portion was a little too big, and then I could not get the rest of the boot over my calves. I don't have large calve muscles, but I just feel like it was made for people with skinny legs. I really liked the look of the boot, but it won't fit- and a larger size will not help. I agree with what others posted, it's pretty lightweight, it WILL slouch, and it doesn't seem that it will stay up.
