At first I was happy with the boots because they fit my 18" calves. They made a lot of noise, but that was okay with me. However, they were really uncomfortable after only a short wearing. I was still planning on keeping them, but unfortunately after wearing them once, they ripped all along the ankle. I sent them back; so disappointing!

At 56 years old, I'm down to running three times a week but still enjoy it. I have been having problems with my ankles, feet, and just general fatigue. The Spira has really made a difference, and I think the spring does work. I don't think that they will help me to run more, but I think that wearing them will help me to maintain my running schedule. They are kind of funky and clunky looking, but they do work. The toe box could be a little wider/rounder, and I found that I had to size up to an 11 when I usually wear a 10.5. In summary, a very good shoe, and I will order them again.

ASICS's Gel-Foundation® Walker - Always a fan of ASICS and this pair didn't disappoint. While they are not as visually attractive as some of the other ASICS athletic styles (i.e. running), they are extremely comfortable and provide good arch support. If you are having trouble finding reliable walking shoes (like I was), this is the pair for you!
