A nice surprise - I purchased these shoes mostly on a whim because they looked like they would be good running shoes and because the reviews I read at the time all seemed good. These shoes are great. A little shoe-stretch, an insole, and you're ready to rock. I got my Harness (full disclosure...the side zip version that isn't made anymore) three years ago. I loved the way they looked and the leather was so rich and buttery. But every time I put them on, something wasn't "right". People told me you had to wear them a lot to break them in. But I found that, despite not feeling too small, they rubbed the knuckles of my toes in a way that bothered me and the lack of support inside made me feel wobbly. Well, thanks to my genius girlfriend, I bought a great Superfeet boot insole for support and had the boots professionally stretched just a touch in the toe area. Now, it's hard for me to wear anything else. I love the way they look and feel. If you're lucky enough to have them fit right away, awesome. If not, take the time to customize.
